Debt collection & financial claims
Turning scattered documents into a coherent claim file, then choosing the shortest route to recovery.
Many collection files stall not because the money is not owed, but because the documents are scattered: an invoice here, a chat there, a bank transfer with no reference, and a statement of account that ties nothing to its source.
The service starts by ordering the file: what proves the obligation arose, what proves delivery or performance, and what proves the amount is still outstanding. From that, a clear statement of account is built that a non-specialist can read.
Then the route is chosen: a letter or a settlement, a claim before the court, or an enforcement request if the creditor already holds an enforceable instrument. Confusing these routes wastes time and money for nothing.
What this service covers
- Ordering the documents and building a statement that ties each amount to its source
- Assessing the creditor’s legal position before choosing a route
- A demand letter or formal notice, and following up the response
- A claim for the amount before the competent circuit
- An enforcement request and its follow-up where an enforceable instrument exists
- Exploring settlement or rescheduling where that serves better than carrying on
Where the work stops
- Recovery is not guaranteed, and neither is the debtor’s solvency
- No pressure or intimidation tactics outside the legal framework are used
- Files with nothing to establish that the obligation arose are not taken on
What to prepare before we start
- The contract, purchase order, or whatever establishes the dealing
- The invoices, numbered and dated
- Delivery notes or whatever shows the service was performed
- A statement of payments made and the balance outstanding
- Earlier correspondence in which the debtor was asked to pay
How a request is reviewed
- First contact
- Scope and conflict check
- Agreement on service and fees
- Work begins
Questions about this service
An invoice evidences the demand, not necessarily the other side’s acceptance of it. The claim grows stronger when the invoice sits alongside proof of the dealing, of delivery, and of the absence of any objection.
An enforcement request is filed when the creditor already holds a recognised enforceable instrument. A claim is filed to establish the right in the first place. Confusing the two is a frequent reason requests are refused.
The position is reviewed by reference to where the dealing took place and what the parties agreed in the contract, then it is explained whether a route exists and what it requires.
The next step
A contract, a claim, or a dispute that needs a decision?
Send a short description of the matter and the documents that matter, and we will settle the type of service and the right route with you before anything begins. Sending a request does not mean an engagement has been accepted or that work has started.
